You can try your luck in the arcades of Sandown's historic pier, and you can have a friendly game of pitch and putt at Brown's Golf Course. The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary which is located at Yaverland, focuses on rescued and threatened wildlife, and puts the Isle of Wight at the front-line for the protection of endangered species. including tigers, lions and lemurs. If you're up for a further challenge, continue your walk up Culver Down and have a well earned lunch at the Culver Haven Inn. The panoramic views will be worth all of the effort.
A nearby bus service offers cheap and easy travel all over the island. There are so many things to see and do on the Island, but you may want to explore some of the following: The Needles Landmark Attraction, Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Osborne House which was Queen Victoria’s holiday home, and for some real chill time, why not visit the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.

Now that we have returned home after a wonderful stay at Shoreside we would just like to thank you for the welcome goodies you left for us - a lovely touch. From the detailed instructions for the route from East Cowes to the key codes simply explained in your comprehensive email you made everything so easy. Your apartment is lovely, so clean and modern - it definitely has the wow factor - and the little details made it so homely after a day out exploring the Isle of Wight. Great views from the balcony and the supply of binoculars is a lovely touch - we couldn’t wait to get back to keep a close eye on the ‘traffic’ in the bay! We will definitely be back again next year!

A FAB-U-LOUS Getaway with Stunning Views
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable holiday property, and it's safe to say that our experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sheer beauty and charm of the place. The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the breathtaking view from the balcony. There's something truly magical about starting your day with a cup of coffee in hand, or even a glass of red wine in the evening, while gazing out at the endless expanse of the sea. The view alone is enough to leave you feeling inspired and rejuvenated. The property itself is modern and spotless. It's evident that the hosts take great pride in maintaining the property to such high standards. Our time spent here was truly unforgettable, and we've already decided that we'll be returning without a doubt. The seamless blend of comfort, modernity, and that awe-inspiring view make this property a true gem along the coast. Whether you're seeking a tranquil escape from the bustle of everyday life or a romantic getaway, this place has it all. In conclusion, our stay at this holiday property was amazing. The captivating view, modern amenities, and pristine cleanliness create an experience that's hard to rival. We're counting down the days until we can once again sit on that balcony, coffee or wine in hand, taking in the beauty of the sea. This is a destination that leaves an indelible mark, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you to the hosts for providing such an exceptional retreat. Until next time!

We had a wonderful week at Shoreside thank you. It’s a lovely clean, well fitted out apartment with all we needed for a great self-catering break. The views are superb, we loved sitting on the balcony having breakfast and watching the birds cruising past on the sea breeze.Having the binoculars available is a great idea so we could enjoy that view with all the sailing boats and the big cargo ships ploughing their way to and from Southhampton. With the coast path right outside at the back of Shoreside it was perfect for us doing a comfortable walk along the promenade either to the breach front and pier at Sandown or going in the other direction into Shanklin. Bus stops are close by and there’s lots of places to explore as well as the coast walks there’s the craft centre at Arreton Mills and the superb fine foods retail and restaurant at Harvey Brown nearby. We enjoyed strolling round Oasis for all the food, gift and furnishing options on display - some quirky but great quality and price, we had a wonderful week and even managed a sea swim in October.
